Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel – Summer Love

January 17, 2016

Summer sessions at Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel. The kind of days full of saltwater and sun-kissed little people. We’ve made a conscious effort this season to embrace all that our beloved home has to offer. Like a tourist in our own city, Sydney – damn you are fine.

One of our favourites this Summer has been The Beach Club, at Sydney’s iconic Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel. An absolute harbour side retreat. Swaying palms, warm sea breezes & a cool, relaxed beachside vibe. It’s the kind of place you feel compelled to stay awhile, soak it all in and just be.

Comfortably furnished, family-friendly tables under a sea of monochrome umbrella’s. The open air space is the perfect vantage point by the harbour. With direct ferry & boat access, it’s one of those places that feels like you’re stepping into holiday mode.

The menu is extensive and well rounded. Hailing all of your seaside favourites; buckets of prawns, lobster rolls, soft shell crab sliders, fresh snapper & chips through to crowd pleasing pastas & creatively fresh salads. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the variety & high quality complements the view. The little bambinos are well catered for with equally delicious & generous options.

The kids spend their time between mocktails, cooling off at the shoreline, literally steps from our table. As an added school holiday bonus the hotel sets up a kids station with colouring-in and face painting; hello perfect Summers day. There is also a range of aqua activities (SUPs) and hire options for those looking to get physical & break a sweat.

The space charmingly creates a Sydney style, beach club atmosphere. It’s casually cool. Great music, location, menu & plenty of smiling faces. A great venue for long days and even longer nights (next time without our little people….!) For those looking for more than a day trip, the award winning, boutique hotel has a collection of beautifully appointed rooms & suites, the perfect spot for an overnighter or two. Link here.

Thanks Watsons Bay. Until next time x
